Servio Staff privacy policy
Updated: 21 October 2026
Who we are and scope
This policy applies to Servio Staff (rest.servio.staff), published by FUTUREFORGE LABS, and the Servio services used by restaurant staff. Your restaurant manages your work account and decides who can access its operations. Servio supplies the app and infrastructure. For questions about data or privacy requests, contact your restaurant or hello@servio.rest.
Data we access
We process work account details (name, email, role and restaurant), authentication, operational actions, orders, reservations and information needed for deliveries, including customer addresses and contact details. We use notification tokens, device and app-version information and technical diagnostics to operate and secure the service.
Precise and background location
For couriers who enable sharing, Servio Staff collects and transmits the phone’s precise GPS location, including when the app is in the background or not on screen. Collection occurs only during an active delivery or return run, after accepting the in-app explanation and granting system permissions. A position may include latitude, longitude, recording time, accuracy, heading and speed when supplied by the device. If the phone permits only approximate location, tracking accuracy is reduced.
Why we use location and who can see it
We use location for dispatch, arrival estimates, route coordination and delivery tracking. Authorized restaurant staff can see the courier position. A customer can see the position through their own active delivery’s tracking link. Data is processed by infrastructure needed to provide Servio; map and navigation services you open may process data under their own policies. We do not sell location or use it for advertising or advertising profiling.
Your choices and stopping sharing
Before requesting location permission, the app shows a separate explanation with Continue and Not now options. Declining does not block other staff features. On Android, background tracking requires Allow all the time location permission. You can stop sharing in Servio Staff Settings or revoke location access in your phone settings. Collection stops when the run is no longer active, when you sign out or when you stop sharing. Force-stopping the app and device restrictions can interrupt tracking.
Retention and deletion
Precise server-side GPS positions become eligible for deletion after 24 hours and are removed by the periodic retention process; coordinate-free summaries are retained for up to 90 days. On the phone, unsent positions are held in a queue limited to 1,000 entries for upload retries; they are deleted after successful transmission and entries older than 24 hours are removed before retrying. Stopping sharing, changing account or restaurant location, and signing out delete unsent local positions. Business data, such as orders and accounting records, have separate retention rules based on the restaurant’s obligations and applicable law.
Security and your rights
We use HTTPS connections and access controls to limit access to data. No system can guarantee absolute security. Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction through the restaurant managing your account or at hello@servio.rest. Deletion may be limited by legal obligations and the need to retain business records. Mention Servio Staff and your restaurant in your request; do not send your password.
Updates
We publish changes on this page. A material change to the location explanation requires renewed acceptance in the app before collection resumes. This policy supplements the general Servio information and app-store declarations.
